I bought a Windows 7 Disc off a top rated seller on Ebay in November 2012, I have now been told by Microsoft that the copies are illegal. Everything was sealed with numbers etc. The seller has now been removed by EBay for breaching their policy. how can I obtain a legal copy or get a refund.

From my maths it appears you are over the 45 days to file a claim with paypal??
If so then you can contact trading standards and seek advice re a small claims court action.
If you know the sellers contact info then contact him beforehand and state unless you are given a refund you will be contacting trading standards as he is selling illegal items....that threat may get you a refund.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
