A friend used my account to purchase an item from a website, which obviously I do not wish to purchase. Can I cancel this payment on PayPal?

Why would you allow a friend to have your paypal password 

As the transaction would have been from your IP address then its unlikely there is anything you can do.

Even my husband does not know my paypal password.

I didn't know they knew it, but unfortunately that was the case. Said password has since been changed! Have contacted the seller and hopefully they will reply before it is dispatched.
