I PAID FOR A PRODUCT WHICH I FOUND ON EBAY. THE SELLER ASKED ME TO PAY HIM AS GIFT SO HE DOESNT GET CHARGED. NOW THAT I HAVE THE PRODUCT IT IS NOT WHAT WAS DESCRIBED WHAT CAN I DO?

nothing gifted payments do not have buyer protection best thing you can do is contact your bank hope they do something also you cannot open a dispute for a gifted payment get in contact with ebay and get them BANNED they have scammed you as  they knew you wouldint be able to claim money back

 

NEVER PAY A SELLER WHO WANT YOU TO SEND PAYMENT AS GIFT IF AQNY SELLER DOES REPORT THEM TO EBAY/PAYPAL

What Stevencraig28 says, there is no buyer protection so no claim can be opened.

 

Gift payments should only be used if sending payments to friends or family.
