Hi,
I was recently scammed by a website so i filed a dispute.
Could someone tell me what happens from this stop onwards and the next step to getting my money back? (I have never disputed a payment before)
Thank you!

Depends on how you paid and what you filed a dispute for.
A bit of actual info would help.

ok i will make it easier for you >>>
Did you pay via
1. Ebay checkout.
2. Send money > goods / services.
3. Send money > family / friends.
4. Money request from seller.
5. Invoice from seller.
6. Website checkout

Great glad we got there as i want to go to bed now
I hope you put as much information as possible on why the item was misdescribed including any comments that the seller conveyed to you in messages etc in the dispute phase.
When you have then you can escalate the dispute to a claim for paypal to review.
Paypal may review the website description BUT they tend to find in favour of the buyer BUT you have to return the item back to the seller first before you get a refund.
DO NOT send it back until paypal tell you to do so and they will tell you to send it trackable and provide them with the tracking number.
Now normally that return is at your own expense BUT you can activate this >>>
https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns
Now IF paypal DO NOT find in your favour you have the option of contacting your card issuer and seeing if they will chargeback for you OR you can file a small claims court action.
Good luck and goodnight.
