withdrawals from bank account unauthorised

Hi, Today I noticed 4 withdrawals from my bank account all for the same amount and labeled as PayPal withdrawals but there is no record on my PayPal account, so how do I question transactions that PayPal does have on my account with them

I have a pending DD from paypal, nothing corresponding in my account, no advance notice. DD is not my prefered choice of payment.

support emails are useless, all I get is automated garbage.

Turns out it was my eBay fees. PayPal have decided to take as direct debit for the first time ever without telling me they're not using debit card as normal. Sounds like nothing, but it's different back accounts & I don't normally hold a balance in the DD one's main section, so it's could easily have been bounced. PayPal tell me it's because I've not set a preference for eBay (so it somehow differs from my preference for every bloody thing else, wassocks)

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and didn't log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a guest buyer.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

If that is not the case then contact customer services and your card issuer to query the transactions.

You don't have Paypal buyer protection cover as a guest buyer but you can contact customer services and they may be able to assist you by reaching out to the seller for you.
So If you need help for a guest buyer transaction then you can;

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will help you.

2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.
