PayPal has made a payment to Ebay that I did not authorize. The amount is $25. Until today, I did have a billing agreement with Ebay. I have spoken with the Ebay representative. There is no activity on my eBay account to correlate with the amount paypal has paid to ebay., Ebay suggests that my PayPal account may be compromised... I have cancelled all of my billing agreements on paypal. I have changed my password, and security questions on paypal. I have tried to dispute this payment on paypal, but the site will not let me contest the payment. I presume this is because I had a billing agreement with ebay. So, has my paypal account been compromised? Should I close this paypal account? Any chance of getting my $25 back? Advice please.
