unauthorised use of my account

can anyone help someone hacked my account and bought some clothing from sportsdirect.com been in touch with PayPal and they have said it was authorised and that the end of it ? not even my address the goods have been sent to its the other end of the country I have the name and address of the person but probably false what can I do thanks ?

if you were hacked......

I hope you changed your password and security questions?
I hope you ran a virus scan on your computer?
I would also be telling my card issuers and bank accounts company that the account was hacked so that they can keep an eye on your account OR remove the financial info involved until things are sorted.

If paypal have turned you down then you could ring and appeal citing the address anomoly?
Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
Freephone from a UK landline or UK mobile number.

Or have you funded your paypal payment via a credit card? If so then contact your card issuer for a chargeback?
