Hello, a company owed some money to me which I had wired through my bank a few months ago. They finally decided to refund the amount through my PayPal account to make sure I receive it quickly. Suddenly PayPal wants to have a ID and information about the transaction. I habe had this account for almost a year and have received several thousand dollars without problems. This time the deposit made to my account was not a payment for a sale. Nonetheless, my funds will be frozen for 180 days. I also cannot return the deposit to the sender. It is a huge burden to my business. I cannot pay my bills. Is PayPal allowed to freeze the payment even though there was no sale?
