sold a Fake, paypal leaves me in the lurch

i was sold a fake Casio GShock watch, the seller knew and never denied selling me a fake.

Paypal says I lose and the seller gets away with selling a fake/knockoff. That's illegal in Australia as far as I know.

The seller claims I had it for a long time, so I lose my money
