I bought a dyson product through what I thought was a franchise and it was a scam with an .xyz website there's also a link to their fake website in my fake receipt http://www.heatenergysurvey.xyz/ -- it wont even open now.

So I filed a case with Paypal because of course I didn't get the product as in it wasnt delivered and I didn't get a refund of course from the scam vendor. Paypal just denied my case after 2 months of nothing, saying they're denying my case because the vendor said they did deliver the product! The vendors website wont even work! What do I do? I want to get my 130.00 back for a product I did not receive. Appreciate any tips as I CANNOT get a hold of a human at paypal!

APPEAL

To submit an appeal on the dispute that was closed, PayPal asks that you obtain a detailed report from the shipper/courier (on their letterhead or some other form of official stationary) that includes the address the seller gave them for the shipment. Or one that includes a statement mentioning your address and saying the item was delivered to a different address.
Check tracking in below link to see where it went.
https://www.17track.net/en

When you have that, contact PayPal via phone (log on to your account and click Contact at the bottom of the page, however that may not be an option at the moment due to covid), or via Facebook (send a Private Message to PayPal) or via Twitter (send a Direct Message to @AskPayPal) and say you want to appeal the denial of the dispute based on the shipper saying the item was delivered to a different address. Once it's submitted (you will be provided with directions on how to do that), the dispute will be reviewed further and a determination will be made.

You also have the option to contact your card issuer if you funded your paypal payment that way and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Thanks for the detailed tip! Only problem is the scam merchant didn't even include shipment tracking number in confirmation email and when I click on their site provided in confirmation email the link is broken and goes nowhere. When I google the site, nothing comes up. It's also an xyz site. Which is why it doesn't make sense that paypal denied my claim, stating that merchant sent them shipping number because merchant didn't even send me a shipping number and now I cant even reach them for what you suggested I need... Here's everything merchant sent me in confirmation emails with personal info crossed out Screen Shot 2020-09-16 at 9.12.03 AM.pngScreen Shot 2020-09-16 at 9.12.15 AM.pngScreen Shot 2020-09-16 at 9.13.33 AM.pngimage0 (2).jpeg
