I paid $106 for three 1/18th cars for my husband for Christmas and never received them. I remember about two weeks ago getting some cheap plastic matchbox sized cars from China and thought that’s weird. I think that was my $106.00!! Can’t get email response or phone response. Both say they don’t exist. Scammed for sure. Paid through paypal.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Also make sure you have activated the below link in case you have to return it.

I had same issue which is now open in the resolution center for paypal review.

It is a scam as far as i see it.

you buy 106$ product.

you get a resemble product, that worth in the market 5$ ...

Then two options can happen:

1. you don't do anything : the seller won 101$...

2. you complain... and then...

The seller will offer you increasing amount of money as a refund... saying how sorry he is...

and lets say you will agree to get 85$... sound good? NO!

he just made 20$...

this is a scam!

open a dispute and DO NOT AGREE for compensation.

Paypal need to block it and resolve it.

It's a scam that looks like a simple mistake. it's the worse!

Thanks. I think they need to block these people and I should get my full refund. I appreciate your response. It makes me feel better that I wasn’t the only one who was duped. So sad.

Seems to me, Pay Pal should reverse all credits to XueAirong and refund to customer accounts. Scammers is being polite!

As i said, i opened a dispute with paypal.

the scammer offered increasing amount of money. i did not agree.

i escalated the issue to paypal.

paypal examined the case and gave me back the full amount.

if i would agree to any amount - paypal would not be able to help me, as i "resolved" it with the seller...

It is a smart scam. sending you the "wrong" product and "compensate" you after ... 🙂

I guess paypal will see it and close these scammers accounts.
