I had a friend that took someone else card to send money on PayPal, transferred it to me and then I transferred it to her friend. what's the process of getting that person their money back? I and her friend had no clue it was stolen.

In this case, I would suggest you ask her friend to refund the payment to you and you refund the payment. This should resolve the issue.
