refunds- claim denied

A seller issued a refund to me- it did not clear and I did not receive it....so I put in a claim with paypal. They have denied it saying that a refund was issued- but it wasn't!  If I appeal/phone/email etc will someone actually look at my account and see that the refund was not cleared into my account?  The seller is now ignoring me!

All you can do is contact them and ask, no one can second guess what paypal will say though unfortunately, good luck.
