re-opening a case

Hi I have an issue. I purchased an item through Depop, but the buyer was acting very suspicious once I purchased the item. Therefore, I opened a dispute, however he agreed to just send out the item and so I closed the case. It has now been a couple of weeks and I still have not received the item and i also have tried communicating with the buyer and he has also admitted that he could not send out the item. Is there any way I can get a refund or reopen the case?

Contact customer service via chat on message center, after getting to live person, explain what happened. This has tell tale signs of a scam and I'm sure PP knows about it. Retain your communications with seller as evidence.
