paypal withholding funds

I made a genuine mistake by calling my account by a band name as i was raising funds with their permission for National autistic trust through the fanclub i run. When asked to verify name i couldnt of course becasue my name is not that.  2 years later and no luck retrieving the funds which I am more than happy for them to pay direct to the charity. I have £419 stuck in there and its very annoying that they feel they can withhold funds with no recourse. Any suggestions?

Sadly the funds belong to the name on that account who has legal paperwork to prove its their legal name.

However you can ask if there is any other way.....
