paypal protected a scammer in resolution centre

l stupidly purchased some software without looking on trust pilot first... (ld purchased a second hand laptop which l needed software to unlock as l couldnt expect the seller to share his login details and l couldnt install games as a non admin of the laptop but l digress).
basically l had been looking all day for a piece of software to resolve this issue and came across something recommended by a few blogs, l tried the trial software which locked the usb option (couldnt create a CD without a CD drive) so l purchased only to find out the only difference between the trial version and the paid version was the buy now button was gone, according to trustpilot this is normal.. and paypal have decided in resolution center in their favor....

Your complaint is not considered Significantly Not As Described. You bought software and received software. PayPal Buyer protection does not warranty the product's performance or your expectations. Will have to try and work it out with the seller somehow. Or, if you paid with credit card, dispute through card issuer.
