I would love to join anyone who wants to sue pay pal. They just suspended my account with my direct deposit of over 1200.00

Unfortunately you’re better off forgetting it. If it’s a “small” amount (under $5000) PayPal is going to steal it, in 180 days they will send you an email saying they’re taking your balance to pay for “damages caused to PayPal by violating their Acceptable use policy” and that’s it. Suing is technically not an option because After PayPal was sued (and lost) for doing this a few years ago they sneakily updated their terms and conditions and included a clause that literally says they may violate your rights, they may take your money for any reason at any time and you agree to NOT pursue litigation. So basically every single person who has PayPal has signed a contract promising not to sue them if they take your money. It is not legally binding but it will be difficult and expensive to win the case, so it would not be worth it.

They have been holding $5408.54 of mine since June 28th, 2020. This is my unemployment money with the ONLY depositor being the State of Arizona. I even recieve an email from the account review department advising me I could withdraw my funds since it had been 182 days. Conveniently, 4 days before the 180 mark they placed another limitation on my account. I've spoke to 6 diff supervisors, had 3 escalated account review requests sent, and have heard nothing from them. I've also filed a legal claim using Fairshake.com which was super easy to do. Just tell them your situation, they review 8t, and if approved file all paperwork for you, and send it to PayPal. They do charge 10% of your claim ($ your paid if you win), but make sure you ask for pain and suffering for financial burden as a direct result of them holding your money. Also ask for the interest that PayPal has collected on your money, since they only made that interest by wrongfully holding your money. Also submit a complaint with your States Attorney general and file a complaint with the BBB. Just make sure you file the proper complaint. This should ensure you getting your money back. Currently, my claim is in negotiations with PayPal. I will update everyone once I have more info. Hope this helps.

you sure you don't work for paypal as you seem to know lot of answers and keep replying to messages all over the place.  If you are based in the UK guys speak to the Financial Service Ombudsman - they will advise you on what to do.    I will never deal with paypal again. I would say to customers can you pay through the paypal link,  customers used to say to me no thanks - ill bacs transferre. I can see why!!!

No way I would ever work for a corrupt company like PayPal. I have a lot of answers because I went through this 6 times. They tried to steal $16,000 from me by permanently limiting my account, and they did the same thing to my sister, my mom, my brother in law, my cousin, and my wife. All of our balanced combined would have been a little over $39,000. PayPal limited all of our accounts and NEVER gave a reason, and tried to say they are keeping our funds to pay for “damages done to PayPal by violating our acceptable use policy” that’s all they ever said, hundreds of emails, hundreds of calls, all they ever said was “we cannot disclose details, you violated our acceptable use policy” but the reason they cannot disclose details is because there is no acceptable reason for stealing money from people. they’ve gotten away with stealing hundreds of millions of dollars this way, but if people keep reporting them to their State Attorney General AND filing complaints with the BBB, eventually it will get big enough that the authorities won’t be able to ignore it anymore and PayPal will be brought to justice.

They are just unethical rob dogs peeps. They just locked my accounts too and have around £3500 held for 6 months.

Spread the word and tell as many as possible not to use these robbing ba**a*ds

They do not conform to UK laws because they secreted themselves under a rock on the fringe of Europe so they get to pay the minimum taxes rather than paying in to the system like every other ethical company.

Why did they lock my accounts? because ONE of my businesses sells CBD and so they locked all my accounts!
