i understand that if you pay through friends and family you are not covered if you do not get your item. But if you pay through item or services does it have to be a item that is shipped or can it be something you can receive through email? example buying a code to a game thank you

You would only have buyer protection for non receipt of item but NOT item received but not as described.

If you want to go ahead then can i advise you to fund that paypal payment via a credit card, that way you have the option to do a chargeback if any paypal dispute fails.

Yes do it as goods / services BUT you still would not have buyer protection for 'received but not as described' as its a virtual item.

As i said if you want to go ahead use a c.c. for extra protection.

Depends how much you trust your seller.

i do not know the guy so i do not trust them and if im not covered via friends and family i would not do it that way then. i know the servies im covered but do you have to put in a shipping address?
