paypal are asking for proof of identity/ address after using for over 10 years

Has anyone else received this request from paypal. I have used paypal for over 10 years and now out of the blue they are asking for proof of identity and proof of address. My account has been limited until I up load this information, anyone know why.

When someone opens an account now they have to provide a lot more info than you did (and me) 10 years ago.

So at some point you have to play catch up and update your account info.
