opened dispute - it was closed without taking into consideration of new information

my dispute was closed but they didn't look into my complaint properly

I initially opened the complain when it had been over 6 weeks and still hadn't received the order. I had payed extra for 3-5 day shipping.

When it arrived it was SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT to what I ordered. but that wasn't factored into the decision about my case!!

I paid $90 for two motion dog balls but got two rubber balls in the mail after 6+weeks. they only did this to get a tracking number. so Paypal closed the case because the item was "sent". but they didn't read the comments about the product being so different to what was ordered and paid for. 

 

no option to re-open case or lodge dispute with new reason?

You can't open another dispute but you can ''change'' a non receipt dispute TO a not as described dispute before it closes.

If you didn't have time then contact customer services and appeal.

However if you have bought from China and received tat as per usual then often the cost to return is more than the item is worth.


Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
