opened dispute PayPal closed case but wrong item was received

I opened a case regarding an item I had not received of course from China. PayPal said it was investigating and no more information was needed from me. Seller then sent wrong item but PayPal closed case and will not open new one

This is a classic bait & switch scam. PP is playing along pretending to be dumb. Contact customer service in message center (chat), talk to live agent and convince him/her that you got scammed. Ask to talk with a supervisor if agent can't help. Have to be persistent to get any results with PP. Some members have had their cases re-opened and appealed. Many not so lucky. 

 

Stop using PP and spread the word about the scams and PP's complicity. There are facebook and twitter pages devoted to publicize PP's scam-friendly business practices (read about it at PP's wikipedia page). Numerous law suits against PP in the past, when will they learn?
