I received three texts from paypal on Christmas morning saying I'd made a purchase that seemed suspicious. It said I'd booked a holiday in New Zealand to the Blenheim spa motor lodge for $5202.00!!!! I was absolutely gobsmacked. I don't have that kind of money. I'm now trying to get my money back because paypal has decided that the transaction was authorised. HOW?! Who's booking trips on Christmas/Christmas eve! I've never spent that kind of money, never looked at booking.com or going to new Zealand and I've never made a purchase in New Zealand currency!! Booking.com sent me a cancellation, how did I cancel something when I don't have an account? And I never made the purchase? And they said they don't do refunds. CAN SOMEONE FROM PAYPAL PLEASE HELP!!!!!! With a Google search there are scams going on booking.com and some going through paypal. I just want my money back bc I don't have that kind of money.

Hi @Lrammelt

I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles with an unauthorized payment that was made from your account. If you have not already, I would suggest filing a claim for this transaction so we can look into this further. This link will walk you through the steps. Once you file, a claims specialist will reach out to you through email with a resolution.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Brooke
