Two large withdrawals ($500 each) were somehow taken from my account to purchase cash cards/greendot? at a Walmart store. These withdrawals pretty much cleaned out my paypal account. I contacted paypal but they deny these are fraudulent charges. What do I do? I didn't make them. I don't shop at Walmart and don't even know how you would go to Walmart and use your paypal account to do something like this. I have since changed my password, withdrawn all of my money from paypal and will not be using this service again. It seems crazy that I have to link my bank account as clearly Paypal doesn't have a very secure system! I am trying to dispute the decision but this seems impossible. I have also emailed greendot.com to see if they can help but I haven't heard back yet. Please let me know if you have any suggestions about what next steps might be. I guess I just have to suck it up.
