I I won an auction on ebay. Item was described as "working"

Upon receiving it, I had it hooked up in 5 minutes, it did not work.

I filed a claim with ebay and PP.

Ebay judged in my favor, I mailed the item back.

Item is out for delivery (according to tracking) when I get an email that the claim case was closed (by ebay)

WTF!

I get the notice from PP it's denied today.

Now I'm out both the $$$ and broken item that I may have been able to recoup some $$$ on it I was able to part it out.

This is NOT right!

I feel I was scammed!

This was a LOT of money for me.

 

Beware of Kevin McDonald computer systems in Tucson, az......

I'm very sorry to hear about the seller and the dispute, that definitely sounds frustrating. I would advise contacting us so that we can look into the case and appeal the decision on your behalf. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon!

Thanks for the words Ashley.

The PP phone system is setup in such a way that it's very difficult to get a hold of a live person.

To make things worst, the automated system is nearly impossible to appease with one or two word answers to complex problems.

If you don,t answer "right" it goes back to the beginning.  I refer to it as a circular answering machine.

It's very discouraging and does not inspire confidence in the system....I'll say that.

I just spent 40++ mins on the phone with paypal. 

They deflect to ebay.

Ok.

Spent 1/2hr on the phone with ebay.

They "don't reopen cases"

I've been on ebay almost 20 years, and using paypal almost as long.

I've NEVER needed help on any problem. EVER!

Seeing how these two businesses scatter, or deflect to the other is extremely disheartening.

I must rethink how I spend my money.

This how you DON'T treat customers.
