covid cancelled my holiday - paid via PayPal

I booked a holiday using PayPal for a fishing trip to France. The trip was expected the happen in June but was cancelled for COVID. The host advised they could offer us another week in August for free, but the quarantine measures have now prevented this from being possible!

 

Do I have any protection of cover through PayPal which would help me to claim a refund against this?
