claim closed but not resolved

I have not received items i purchased last april. i filed a claim they said it was being shipped but i never received it. the claim was closed but this is not resolved.

Which dispute type did you open?

Did you escalate it to a claim within 20 days of opening it?

Which funding source did you use to pay in the first instance?

Case ID: PP-D-65822235 - they said it was being shipped i waited, week later on item, went back in it was closed.

 

Did you escalate it to a claim within 20 days of opening it?

no they said it was being delivered.

 

Which funding source did you use to pay in the first instance? 

PayPal checking.

Disputes close automatically if you don't escalate to a claim.

Never let a dispute close, even if you escalated and won and got a refund and the item showed up you could always pay again.

But once a dispute is closed you can't re-open it or open a second.

If you feel you had been scammed, then you can always contact customer service (chat session seems to be the most effective way) and ask to re-open the case. One member reported he/she tweeted PP CEO Dan Schulman directly and got results. Don't just give up because PP policy favors scammers. Vote with your feet, don't use PP even for trusted merchants. If enough victims do this (and I know damn well there are thousands of us out there), it will hurt PP's bottom line and maybe then they will act.
