cancel my payment to not-legit company

i recently make payment through not-legit company because i can not contact the seller through email and phone call. How i can request a refund back ?

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Also make sure you have activated the below link in case you have to return the item to get a refund

i recieved the item today. but it not as describe and i still can not get intouch with the seller. i have the UPS tracking from China and seller still not response. I already open the dispute in Resolution center and the seller still not response to the dispute. it have been almost a month now, do you think i can get my money back ?

If you still have a dispute for non receipt of item open in your paypal account then you need to 'change' it to 'not as described' before it closes (if the seller sent the item trackable).

i got replied from seller, he/she want me to mail the item back to china to get full refund from seller, but he/she give me the address in Chinese language, i can not read it or write in chinese to send the package. it is ridiculous. 

i bought Nintendo Switch console from this website " onsale.egocentric.pw " for $299. I feel suspect something not right, i went contact the seller through the phone number post on website, but phone # invalid, i email the seller, my email wont get deliver through. I contact paypal right after to report the scam. Seller did give me tracking # for item he/she sent, i receive item on 08-05-2020, and item i received was a plastic toy just palm size and not Nintendo Switch console i saw from website.

If you opened a dispute for item received but not as described then escalate to a claim and wait for paypal to tell you what to do.

Sadly you bought from another of these scam China web sites or Social Media ads.

Paypal tells me to return the package to the seller, and seller gave me address in Chinese. 

I went to post office today to send the package, the lady works at post office told i need to translate that address in English. and i need to fill out custom form for it to go to China.

I asked the lady works at post office if i just return the package back to sender. She said the sender address on the package is not a valid address.

Paypal give deadline date for me to mail the package back to seller until aug 15th. i hope i have enough time.

i used google translate the address of the seller gave. i try to post here the seller's address but i got remove

I am still waiting for the seller to response after i send the item back to China (which is over a month ago).  Now i get back in paypal, i dont see my dispute case any more. Can someone explain what had happen ? thankyou
