after more than 2 months later, the bayer has been opened case

We hope someone here offers some advice.

I sold camera on Ebay and Buyer has been so happy that he gave me positive feedback...Now after more than 2 months later, the bayer has been opened a case here in paypal claiming the camera is not good and have problem
And he's asking me for a 20% refund.

I have not submitted the case yet to PayPal, but does PayPal have the right to consider such a case, especially since it has been more than two months old?
Please advise what to do.

The dispute stage of a Paypal dispute is for any negotiations between buyer and seller, if you put in as much information as possible during that negotiation then if the buyer escalates to a claim Paypal will then get involved to review it.

However paypal do not get involved in part refunds the ONLY option they will give the buyer if and only if they find in their favour is a return of the item back to you before you have to refund.
