I agree, I mean i haven't read deep into PayPal reimbursement procedures and protection. I, like many thought paypal was safe and secure and protected us from this fraud. Thankfully i only lost $25 and I learn my lesson. But I agree that they should remove this obvious scammer from there trusted companies. They just compromise the integrity of their own business. The least they could do is save future customers from the devastation. Granted, shame on the scammer from stealing. No character. The deed will be returned ten-fold
I ordered a jacket from this company on December 4 and still have not received it. I emailed them a week ago and asked when I would arrive. They stated that it was on the way. I email again this morning informing them I expected the jacket in 7 days or would demand a refund. If refused, I stated I would take it up with Paypal. So, I google the name of the company and this was the only page that popped up. I am hoping that Paypal will assist in this process sooner than later.
The best thing to do is to call PayPal "Repeatedly" and when you talk to the first person (they will not be able to do anything) So ask for a supervisor, (they will not be able to do anything either, however their English will be better) Then Ask for a Manager. They are the one that can actually see that you get a Refund (and most likely they will be based in the US and English will be their first language). Now You may need to Call them several times and speak to a few different Managers but do not give up. I can't remember where I found the phone Number but I believe if you search through the customer service page you will be able to find it. Good Luck, you'll need it.
mwindy you can tell clicking the ACTIVITY menu in your PayPal page after login by description the invoice sum and company name. Click for details and there you can escalate case in PayPay by clicking a button (I guess its "report a problem" - I have it on my own language not english). Good luck.
I'm very sorry to hear that you've all had a bad experience with your transactions. The disputes that have been filed, in addition to being necessary for each of you to recoup losses from your individual transactions, are also necessary to help PayPal view the big picture of a merchant's behavior. While we are unable to disclose any results of investigations or any actions taken on an account to anyone but the account's owner, I can assure you that PayPal does investigate these trends of behavior. Thank you to everyone who opened a dispute to let us know of the issue.
To any who had a post edited or removed from this thread, I am very sorry for the inconvenience. All posts must adhere to the Community Rules and Guidelines. Any posting of contact information would not be allowed.
I'm marking this post as the accepted solution in order to allow the forum to float my response to the top of the thread. This is not an indication that PayPal considers the matter closed. It is purely to ensure the visibility of this response as the thread grows. We appreciate the insight that you have all brought to the discussion and any additional posts that come from anyone else that has been affected.
I have already sent a payment to that company but the money did not debited from my account yet. I have already sent a message to PayPal to cancel the transaction but I would like to ask it from you too. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
My name is Jose and I did file a dispute on a order from ZG technology Co., Limited. At first I did it for not getting it on time. Right after I did it the order shown up, and I close the case. But when I noticed that it was the wrong drone, I try to crate a new one, it wouldn't let me. I called the customer support and the lady said that she would have one made for the problem, and when went to check on it today I noticed that it wasn't created. I called again and that's when I was told that PayPal can not help me because they couldn't created another one because I did one for not shipping on time. That I should have change it which I try to explain to the lady at that time I didn't know that they sent me the wrong drone. Long store short I lost $110.85 and so far not help from no one. I have been emailing this company no answers, and paypal did not help at all.
I am hoping now that I am get some help on this. Sent I had to post it here.
Has anyone had their money returned by PayPal under the buy protection policy? This is a known scam to PayPal, why are they protecting the seller? I'm out $83.47 and PayPal could care less. Time to find a reputable service.
