The same thing happened to me. Paypal knew this company was engaging in deceptive trade practices, yet continued to allow them to use Paypal to accept funds. I have used PayPal for years on another account and have always had good experiences when there was an issue with a vendor. Not this time. I contacted Zestads immediately after I bought the masks (spending 143.18) on the items, and bought the expedited shipping. I immediately contact Paypal to ask for a refund and get help to cancel my order. Five days later, I get some response saying they are favoring Zestads. I am irritated and did more research..... and look at this..Page after page on Paypal community boards about the same exact experience. Paypal had not just constructive knowledge about this issue, but had actual knowledge that people were being scammed by Zestads. Paypal, a leader in online dispute resolution, has failed not only me, but all the customers that trusted the PayPal logo.
I spent the afternoon calling different law firms to discuss filing a class action lawsuit, naming Paypal and Zestads in the case. In my opinion, Instagram probably had knowledge about this company too and should also be held liable. To get this case picked up, contact the firm "Morgan and Morgan" and ask to speak to a class action specialist. Also, take screenshots of all these bad reviews that associates Paypal and Zestads, in case Paypal decides to scrub their platform of any mention of the scam. I've been taking screenshots for the last two hours (yes, there is that many complaints listed with Paypal).

You are absolutely correct. Mine was through Facebook, but hiding behind the name of a legitimate company. I'm making progress on the dispute because finally reached an agent who has his act together. He told me not to cancel the dispute if I was asked to do so (I wouldn't have anyway but his comment was refreshing). They have indeed asked me to cancel, and sent me a bogus tracking number that said my item was in Hayward, CA 8 days ago (interesting how it got there from China when it was ordered on the 4th and supposedly shipped on the 9th). I am betting that this tracking number is the screenshot which is cut and pasted onto hundreds of disputes. Hayward, incidentally, is 90 miles from where I live and so if it was there on 4/8 (and I've checked several times since, hasn't moved, so it's bogus) it would be here so I could refuse it. I will be refusing at the door and stating "product not as ordered" in the very unlikely event that I get anything at all.
There needs to be accountability for this, Paypal is complicit in this fraud for sure.

Strangely they have sent me similar tracking number which states that it was in Hayward, CA on April 8. But that they had shipped on April 9. So how can it be in CA on April 8th while the shipped on April 9, 202. I am convinced that it is a fraudulent Tracking number. I am going to to start a dispute throgh Pay pal as well as take it up with my credit card company

We should start comparing tracking numbers. Can we find a couple that match I wonder? Here is mine and a different friend who I discovered also made an order.

I also ordered from AI , $29.99 for one mask and $45.90 for 10 replacement mask filters, $75.89 Total. The date shown by Newgistics, the company that supposedly picked up the order at the alleged vendor location in Hayward, CA to take to the Hayward USPS is April 08 also. The USPS has no tracking record for the Tracking Number I was given, because they never had the order delivered to them. I WILL BE DE-LINKING MY ACCOUNTS FROM PAYPAL DUE TO PAYPAL'S UNTRUSTWORTHY HANDLING OF THESE RIPOFFS THEY CONTINUE TO ALLOW. YOU ARE AN ACCOMPLICE TO INTERNAIONAL WIRE FRAUD AND NUMEROUS OTHER CHARGES. I'm curious, is this the tracking number everyone else got?
