Please i need urgent help !!! my PayPal is connected to my online store, as I have to transfer my money from PayPal to my business bank account. 

I have sent all the information over and over again ! and also added the 4 DIgital code. 

I am still having this message Your account access is limited. Learn how to remove this limitation. 

Can anyone human being help on this issue please ?

@Sidney08 I have been waiting for over 2 weeks and I haven't even had a response from Paypal, all I did was update a trading name and banking details and my account is restricted. Paypal is holding my money, I cannot refund customers and I cannot pay suppliers. This is not good enough from Paypal.

 

All items requested show a green tick in the relevant Account Update section. 

 

Covid19 has nothing to do with this, these requests are processed back of house by employees sitting behind a computer, it shouldn't matter if they are sitting in PayPal's big shiny office or working from home. There is no excuse for this atrocious customer service. 3 days should be normal, 6 days should be extreme, I am more than double the extreme and at the end of my patience. We have consumer law in Australia to protect us from this type of behaviour and I am close to invoking my rights under those laws. You need to get someone to make contact and resolve my restrictions please.

Same problem on my account.  This seems to be a very prevalent problem with PayPal!  I am considering closing my account with them entirely!!

Hi @Sidney08 ,

I am having the same problem. But in my case I have completed the steps needed to verify my identity as per required by Paypal and received an email stating that identity has been confirmed and limitations will be lifted. (see screenshot below). This was emailed 17th March 2020. Its 16th April 2020 and my account is still limited. I believe the emailed was sent that I was confirmed but no one actually lifted the limitations on my account. Hotline is no use and after 5 emails later there are still no replies.

Please get someone to lift this limitation since I am already confirmed.

@Sidney08 this is before the Coronvirus lock down so Paypals excuses about this causing delays is rubbish. The onscreen communication when you update details is 2-3 days to process. If PayPal was meeting SLA's with business customers this case should have been resolved. @Saifislam has been waiting over 1 month, I have been waiting more than 2 weeks - this is absolutely ridiculous. If you can't process the restrictions then lift all the restriction, assess them when you have capacity and contact customers for more information if required. It is not that hard.

Totally atrocious customer service!!!

I have uploaded all the documents when I was prompted to (while my accout was NOT limited but I was approaching the money limit)

That was two weeks ago. NOONE reviewed my documents, I got a new payment and now my account is limited. I try to resolve but whenever I visit the resolution center I get the same redirection back to my account overview since the documents have been uploaded. I contact through the messaging system in English, I get a response in my language (Greek), I respond to that and get a response that they do not support Greek. I sent again in English, I got an email saying that need to resubmit Proof of Address, I try to do that via the resolution center but it still has the green tick next to address verification, I reply to the email with the proof and get an automated response that it is not monitored!!!

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP?? And you dare use COVID19 as an excuse when no one is actually reading what we send but reply with generic **bleep** just ot move to the next one! I havent seen you stop charging or charging less in your feed because of COVID19, the only thing you stopped was customer support! 

Since you cannot review documents WHY do you limit accounts?

I will seriously explore my legal options as this is getting trully ridiculous

Please I need urgent help!

I have submitted all documents required by PayPal but the same mail repeating me from PayPal to submit the document and. no whare to submit the document and everything I have completed. I am waiting for about one month to get my account back. still, I'm in the trouble and my well maintain eBay account also blocked because I couldn't have to complete my monthly payment on time.

 

please be good enough to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

@Sidney08 my patience has run out after many weeks of no response on this issue so I have lodged a Complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Paypal cannot legally hold our funds without any breach of policy and force us into a situation where we are breaking Australian Consumer law by not being able to refund customers. 'Patience' is not the answer - Paypal lifting these restrictions for ALL impacted customers immediately is the only answer. PayPal can review these account updates in their own time and ONLY restrict if the customer fails to validate any issues raised by PayPal. This policy of 'Restrict everyone that makes a change to their account details and wait while we get to it' is abhorrent. Paypal's business relies on us the merchants who strive for customer service excellence with our customer base, if an institution like PayPal undermines that CX we all work so hard at, then you will ultimately bight the hand that feeds you.
