You can't use PayPal anymore

Hi everybody, we are a portuguese company with 25 years that has a normal shop and an online page.

For many years he have been buying and selling using Paypal. Without any warning we had our account suspended, without any explanation other than "we might have broken some terms of use" .

We contacted paypal but  we were only informed that our account had been suspended do tu "risk acessment", without any further information.

We are totaly clueless of what might have happened, since we used paypal both for company sales and purchases, but without any noticeable incidents.

We have read the terms of use but found no reason, since we do NOT sell FIRE ARMS . We do sell airguns, airsoft, knives, bows and crossbows but thay should not be a matter since we know hundreds of other shops selling the same items that accept paypal.

 

Is there a way to find out what really happened?

Is there a way to address any concerns that paypal might have?

Is there a way to let us know what can we eventully do or change to correct any eventual issues?

Can we recover our account?

We are a honest company so at least we want to know why!?  can someone help us?

Well, you can't say that it doesn't matter just because others sell unacceptable items that is ok to do it and one shouldn't be flagged. Others just haven't been caught yet or show a pattern that will flag them as of yet. There's millions upon millions of accounts.

 

There has to be something about your account that caused you to be flagged. Its something risky about your account and it may not be what you're selling, could be how you're using the account. No one here knows because no one knows how you behave with your account. There are literally hundreds of reasons. Or if could just be a misunderstanding or a false positive by the software. 

 

Contact customer service and ask to have your account reviewed and appeal the limitation:

Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.

 

Say "Live Agent" to the automated recording.

Thanks for your reply.

We just think that if something is "wrong" with our account (and as you said, it can be hundreds of things) paypal should tell us correct this, or that, in a period of X time... for us it is very desapointing to be convicted like a "criminal without any formal acusation".

We use our account either to buy and sell goods, we have always payed, we have always delivered the goods.

We will try to contact them again, thanks
