Yingling Trading company scam

I too have reported this company as being a scam and Paypal refuses to reimburse me unless I return item which is much more costly than the item and takes months...I ordered 4 stainless steel shelving units on wheels  and received  3 very small cheap plastic baskets and no wheels  which were about 1/4 the size I ordered.

Paypal refuses to look at all the complaints and refund our money....I offered to send this page with complaints and they refused.

Has anyone had luck being reimbursed without the sham of returning the item?

Chinese Web Sites or on Facebook easy to spot so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

In the event of a dispute you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you buy from that seller / item / country.

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Have you spoken with PayPal a dispute specialist about this?

To contact customer service:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

Or contact via social media:

Facebook (US): https://www.facebook.com/paypal

Twitter (US): @AskPayPal

Otherwise, the system/PayPal typically won't let you keep item and money. As per purchase protection policy, if you received something not as described you will be required to return item.

PayPal has a return shipping refund program for future purchases if this return is not eligible:

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns

If the decision is not to your satisfaction and paid with credit card, you can dispute through card issuer instead, forfeiting the PayPal dispute.

Yes, I spoke with Paypal and they refuse to do anything about this company and refunding my money unless I return the item...I could pay the very high price to return it which would take months and all the company has to do is not accept it.   I mentioned that many paypal customers have the same problem but they refuse to accept this and make an exception to policy requiring me to return the item.   Yingling Trading company makes their money this way...

This is the first time I have had a problem with Paypal which I have used for decades.....I am disturbed by the unwilliness to look at the scam issue....all they say is if it is a scam they will eject company but won't pay me back

I fell for the same scam but company name was Swopply Technology. Item sent was nothing like the item ordered and Paypal says that in order to get a refund, I must pay shipping to return to China. I'm mad at myself for giving up but I think at this point I will consider the dollar amount lost as payment for a lesson learned. I will never again order from a company I am not familiar with unless I research first and find no complaints. Had I just goggled the company before ordering, I would have found a number of similar complaints and would have never placed the order. At one time, if a company offered Paypal as a means of payment, it lent credibility but that is no longer the case. It seems Paypal is more interested in the profits they are making off the scam artists than they are of taking care of their loyal customers. In the future I will avoid using Paypal whenever possible and will advise others to do the same. There are other avenues available. Shame on you Paypal for siding with the obvious thieves.

PayPal can't automatically assume its a scam from their standpoint as third party who wasn't there when they shipped and wasn't there when you received item, maybe they see a different picture that we don't see, whatever that might be. Who are they to believe. Perhaps people should just contact PayPal and report this company separate from the dispute to get the company ejected. Click "Legal" at the bottom of the page and click "PayPal Acceptable Use" and scroll down to the Report Violations section to report.

PayPal won't pay you back because there is no guarantee. Purchase protection is not a guarantee, warranty or insurance. PayPal never claimed this. Its all in the user agreement. In order to get your money back through PayPal, you have to return for refund on SNADs if you escalated the case for PayPal to rule on. That's the policy. These chinese sites, they have scoped the policy out and learned to adapt to it. The best protection is us watching over who we buy from by doing a quick web search, shop smarter, use a credit card, and be extra vigilant and observant as you see one scam site, you seen them all. They have a "type" to them. We have to be in charge of our pocketbooks.

Like I said, you can go to your credit card to dispute instead as credit card dispute terms maybe broader than PayPal's. If you chargeback as SNAD, seller not protected and credit card may not require you to return item. Try it out, if that is how you paid.

@Nonnie1940

I personally don't buy much online anymore, if on rare occasion that I do, its some place reputable with a track record and nationally if not internationally known. Not messing' around with no names or weird name shops. I don't buy internationally at all. It would be for an amount I don't mind losing, at least. I'm so glad I don't because these horror stores are off the hook.

Look out for copied stock images and do price comparisons of actual suggested retail price, if its priced too good to be true, it is. Research the brand to see if they have any notices for counterfeits or knock offs on brand site.

Firstly, I understand it is my fault I was scammed. Fortunately, not that big amount. My wallet will survive, unlike my confidence.

What I find disturbing and what shakes my confidence in internet shopping in general and in PayPal specifically, is that there are so many reports of this company, so many people tried to inform PayPal, and after long time PayPal still lets Yingling scam people, allowing to use their payment channels. I would expect Paypal to check this company and prevent them from stealing money through its services. Shame on you, PayPal!

Lastly, this experience will teach me to use safe payment channels and surely I will cease my PayPal money transfers.

It is always very difficult to build a good name, but very easy to lose it.

Paypal does have a guarantee for purchases.  That is one reason to use them.  This is the first time they did not come to my aid.
