Wrong decision

How do I challenge a wrong decision by the paypal resolutions team that are meant to be there and protect the customer from a seller that gives a bad customer service and not what you paid for

They don't give you 100% protection, they are not an insurance company.

They give you 'some' buyer protection and its up to all of us to risk assess our own transactions.

 

You can appeal any decision as long as you have new information not available to paypal at the time that they made their original decision.


Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
