This is my first ever transaction using paypal as I trusted that it is very good espeacilly for international payments and the lady, Lucy we needed to pay also encouraged to pay using paypal. I had to transfer her 612 pounds, I proceeded with my transaction and selected my forex card (works like a debit card in UK) but I was charged 658.14 pounds for it plus Lucy only got 581.71 pounds so she asked me to pay the extra 30 pounds to her in cash. I suffered an overall loss of 46+2x30 pounds all at once, I sincerely request my money back. I am a student in the UK and cannot afford such nuisances due to single transfer. I had requested multiple times for reciept and reached on facebook with no satisfactory answer to why 46+30 pounds got cut. can someone tell me what is paypal for if not transfering the right amount of money please?
