Hi, Ive had a charge back dispute ongoing for months now, I’ve not been allowed to touch my balance money in my account untill the 180 days are up. On May 26th the 180 days elapse, I need access to this money however PayPal are also shutting my account down due to rules and regulations and my dispute. I’ve sent load emails however I get the auto response answer which doesn’t help. Does anyone know as soon as the 180 days are up I can transfer to my family member then get my PayPal shut down Completely- my account is restricted. Basically my account is not useable but haa hundreds locked in there and this money at this current time will keep a roof above my head, PayPal Said they’ll email after the 180 days but I can’t see them doing so with little staff!? I can’t wait 181 days I want access on that 180 day

Paypal holds your funds for 180 days as that is the same timeframe that buyers have to open paypal disputes.
So if no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes Paypal request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.
Your best bet is to wait until the phones are back up and running and then phone customer services so that you can speak to an agent.
Then they can help advise on how you can withdraw the funds if you are allowed to.

There are no open disputes for me to close. I choose the send a check option and the sent me a check and for some reason it got sent back so I’m back to step one irritated and I can’t get a live person to save my **bleep**..
