Why doesnt Paypal Protection Work?

I never received an item have contacted Paypal on many occasions  and no one responds or does anything about it seems PayPal Protection isn't real and is a Big Farce. I bought an item the seller never sent nothing and closed their account. Item was bought April 7,2020 6 weeks later I still haven't been refunded. Resolution center says they are reviewing information from seller on a closed account guess they really don't care seems Buyers Better BEWARE!! Your PayPal Protection sure doesn't protect us! BEWARE!!!!!

The status is still "under review" so PayPal haven't closed the case yet. They could be allowing extra time due to Covid-19. If PayPal ends up closing the case against you, then you can dispute through your credit card instead, if that is how you paid. PayPal tries to resolve the dispute 30 days from date of opening but sometimes it can take longer.
