What will happen if I ignore a account limitation?

My account recently had a limitation put on it that stops me from spending or withdrawing money. If I don’t send the proof of identity what will happen to the money in my account? Will I get it back in 180 days or will the account stay like this forever until I send in the documentation? I have over £2000 in this account and I really need it back but don’t want to send in any documentation.

The funds will be stuck held in the account. if you're given the 180 days speech, PayPal will email you to let you know when you can withdraw and how after the 180 days. There is a chance some documentation is needed for you to withdraw. Security is tight these days and PayPal may not release that much money without ID of some kind. They don't want someone claiming they gave money to the wrong person.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
