Never received item, tried to contact seller, filed a paypal claim a week ago, when I check resolution center it says "message from seller (1)" but there's no way to access that message or view it, so not sure what to do next, tried paypal online text/chat today but waiting 4 hours for a response on there now....

Why don't you just escalate the dispute to a claim?

If you are unable to resolve the dispute with the seller, you'll want to escalate the dispute to a PayPal claim. If the dispute isn't escalated to a claim within 20 calendar days, the case will automatically close without resolution.
