What happens to payments received during account limitation? Do I lose the payments forever?

I'm freaking out. I literally just called apypal a few days ago to make sure everything was in order to receive a payment. I don't use paypal oftem, a couple times a year to make payments. They said everything fine. GOod to go.

THis morning, the morning of the day I expect to receive payment, I got an email stating my account has been limited. I tried to call customer service. The bot hung up on me. I tried to use the Message Service. The bot stopped messaging.  I don't know how to resolve this.

On my account page, I don't see ANY messages about a limiteation. Everything looks in order. What do I DO???

Most concerned, is what happenes when the person tries to pay me on the other side?  Am I going to lose their payment?

Has anyone figured out how to remedy this?

If its a spoof then NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.
