I created a new paypal account recently in order to seperate my businesses and so that customers of Ebay business are met with the proper branding upon paying and on their credit card statements. The fact you cant create sub businesses under your main account is a problem Paypal needs to rectify.
Anyway, I recently received some funds from a customer and probably since its the first transaction on my new account, paypal wants to verify my ID. I can provide all the documents but for a photo ID, I dont have a current drivers licence and do not wish to provide my passport due to the ever increasing threat of hacking. Particularly if it goes to service outside of Australia.
Can I provide other documents, like Proof Of Age card, which is a Photo ID, Medicare Card etc (which isnt)? These are forms of ID particular to Australia
