I was trying to update an annual subscription for something, and this interruption from a company asks for permission to secure payment. I obviously didn't agree, and closed the page. But I did have to sign in my pay pal with a hidden password auto fill. Do they already have access to my Pay Pal?

In general, the merchant does not have access to your PayPal account. However, they could request you to accept the terms of an automated payment agreement, where the merchant can automatically charge your account based on the recurrence determined by your contract with them. If you did not accept the terns, though, the contract should not be initiated. However, you can check your pre-approved payment agreements by following these instructions.
