I ordered a engine hoist from Geasnare.com. This was July 8th 2020. They sent me an email stating it was shipped via USPS and a tracking number 5 hours after placing the order. i went to the USPS site, entered the tracking number and was told the electronics item had been delivered first class mail on July 1st 2020. The Shenzhen Lefkova shipping company some how turned my mailbox into a time machine  and a 200lb engine hoist into First Class Mail. DON'T BE THEIR NEXT VICTOM!

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

ALSO IF YOU LOSE DUE TO THAT TRACKING NUMBER THEN COME BACK FOR INFO ON THE CORRECT WAY TO APPEAL.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Geasnare is a scam site. They were supposedly selling 12 gallon gas tanks for half the cost of others. When I called their provided number on their website it ended up being a dental office in another state. If you read their writings on their official website you plainly see its poor English and easy to see they are just scammers. Sorry it happen to you.

WOW...at first I was thinking I wrote your message while sleep walking...sounds exactly like MY sad sack story!

I too ordered an engine hoist on Jul 9th for $99. Guess I should have known that price was suspicious.

I started out speciousness about the price but pure frustration and desperation drove me to ordering this thing.

When I did not get a confirmation email regarding my order (like ALL legitimate businesses do), I got really nervous - RED FLAG#1.  I called the number and got a Pediatric Orthodontist Clinic in IN! RED FLAG #2 .  The business address is in MI!

RED FLAGS #s 3, 4, 5, 6...Were all the emails I sent and NEVER got ANY replies!  Even tried to set up an "account"...

you guessed it...NO REPLY or EMAIL!!!

Don"t know what my recourse is and whether or not PAYPAL will stand behind it's LOYAL CUSTOMERS and do what is right!?!

I ordered Dremel 4300 7/8/2020 but the forwarded tracking back dated to 7/2/2020. Website timed out and seller removed the web page.

Please be warned of this fraud.
