WARNING ABOUT PAYPAL

Just a warning to everyone:

My account randomly got suspended after months of use. Was told i wasn't allowed to have a paypal account because i am underage and that my account was being closed and funds transferred into my bank account. I have been on the phone more than 6 times with paypal and it's been well over a month. My funds are yet to be transferred over to my bank. Right now i have a limited paypal account with a decently large sum of money that i am unable to access as paypal has done nothing.

I strongly do not recommend using paypal and would instead find some other platform to use.

Absolutely useless!

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.

PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.

As you would be unable to verify your account it would be permanently locked for further use.
Minors can’t enter legal contracts so you may not have any recourse to get your money back until you were 18, unless customer services allow you to transfer the funds to a parents account, not guaranteed however.

You would never be able to use that illegally opened underage account again but once 18 Paypal may allow you to do a withdrawal of funds from that account.

OR they may allow you to open a new account and transfer the funds across for you. The latter option is not guaranteed as you have already broken their rules once but you should get one of those options.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I was told by 7 or 8 different paypal workers that I was able to receive all funds from my account, so long as I sent them certain documents. Having had uploaded the documents around 6 times, I'm yet to hear any updates regarding the status of my funds withdrawal
