Vanilla Visa money stolen and put in a paypal account

I recently purchased a $100 vanilla ciaa gift card and I got to use $30 of it then $70 of it was stolen and put into a paypal account, I have the transaction number but what can I do with it to find out who did this?

It sounds like your PayPal account may have been compromised for this transaction to be made. Please ensure you change the password and security questions on the PayPal account.
