The website that I payed through paypal got an error after i finished entering my payment, i got an email of the receipt of my purchase but on their website the status of my order is UNPAID, I contacted their customer service but they told me to contact paypal for they dont have my money.

What does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account.

Sent / completed.

Pending / Unclaimed.

Pending.

they got paypal API when i paid but i still payed without an account, after paying a database error popped out. an email indicating that i've completed my email was sent to me but my status on the website's record is unpaid. just created this account for the sake of asking questions and how to fix this.

Then contact your card issuer as the payment is probably in the pending status and they can release it for you.

would that still happen even if i got a receipt from paypal?
