I received emails (4-5 in a row) from PayPal in French but I don’t speak French. After Logging in to my account and changed my language back to English, I noticed a transaction from my bank account to PayPal of $1000. I changed my password on my account and received an email in someone else’s name saying I had changed my password (email was in English this time). I went through my account and saw that extra phone numbers had been added and a business address I didn’t recognize. I deleted the phone numbers and changed my security questions. I tried to report the activity to PP but because the transaction went from my bank to my PP account it wouldn’t recognize it as an unauthorized transaction. How do I report this and what else should I do? Also, why am I receiving emails in someone else’s name when my account settings still show my name?
