I had an unauthorized transaction occur on my PayPal account. I opened a case and PayPal found in my favor which is good, I’m not complaining on that! My question is how to prevent this from happening in the future and how the transaction happened in the first place. Every time I make a PayPal transaction I then receive an email from PayPal confirming the transaction. With this unauthorized transaction I never received an email, I only noticed the transaction while looking at my account overview. If someone hacked my account to make a purchase, how did they prevent an email from being sent? Any ideas?
