Unauthorized Transaction - Case declined by PayPal

Hello,

I opened a case on May 23 about an authorized transaction that happened on May 3. 

Paypal closed the case.

 

I need the money back because I was scammed into sending that amount as Friends & Family.

 

My last resort is to request my credit card company to chargeback the amount, but I would prefer to get the money back from PayPal directly. 

 

Can you advise what the next step I take should be? If the credit card company requests a chargeback, will it endanger my Paypal account?
