Unable to use PayPal, funds being held for nearly a year

I had a unable to use PayPal message, with funds inside that I have been trying to withdraw for over a year. It’s been more than 180 days and I’ve received nothing from PayPal with regards to how I can withdraw my money. I have phoned up, and been told to contact an email address in which I did to only receive an automated response. I then tried to message paypal, only to receive an automated response. PayPal’s support is dreadful, holding onto people’s money during a global pandemic. Isn’t good enough. How am I supposed to retrieve my money if I am being sent in circles with the customer service and all I receive is automated replies?

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
